TEAM BUILDING PROGRAMS BY MOZAMBIQUE ADVISER The old profession of one task has gone long ago, competition is everywhere, internal and external factors add extra pressure to your performance. Your team needs to be perfectly "tuned up" to achieve the success you aim at. The one job for the entire live also seems to have gone out of fashion, team leaders have to deal nowadays with an increasing high rotation of their team members / staff / collaborators. Many institutions and companies have apparently everything they need to succeed, yet they battle to achieve those objectives simply because they do not recognize the importance of "team building". Is your team ready for today's demanding working environment? Companies need to be innovative and make sure their teams are conveniently motivated and focused on their main missions. In many companies the old philosophy that motivation is a great remuneration package and a very comfortable air-conditioned office is no longer working out well enough. Humans need more to give the best out of themselves for such demanding careers. Using three main concepts: < Successful teams do what others are not prepared to do + Learn by experience + Opportunity to fail >, our activities bring to the participants a lot of fun and excitement while helping the team to resolve and improve some internal and external functionalities. A few challenges most teams deal with: Get to know each other more informally, Need to build bridges between different departments within the corporation, being able to see the big picture - the mission of the company, Own role versus the role of the team as a whole, importance of helping each other versus internal competition, need to serve to lead, trust your colleagues/leader, being proud of your team, etc. The activities: We provide a wide range of activities for both outdoor and indoor premises. From table activities that do not require any phisical efforts to those which require a great level of intelectual awareness. From merely theoric sessions to activities involving radical sports. All activities are selected for each particular team having in mind the team funcionality concerns previously identified or that are likely to happen in this kind of teams and/or according to the objectives of the program. The activities are aimed at raising funcionality problems in the teams. We already know upfront that those problems will come up but we are very interested in verifying how does the team act and overcome the diffiulties. Post activities analyses: Once the team has had a lot of fun with the activities planed, our facilitators will assist in bringing to the surface the experiences lived by the participants. This will assure that the team gains perception of the its functionality performance and areas of possible improvement. Team participants are stimulated and openly participate in the discussions. Interesting to see how nobody is embarrassed to talk about the failures on the funny activities (this would not be possible in the normal work environment where failure would most probably mean dismissal). By making this analyses with the team, a great tool is given to the team to adjust the "Modus Vivendi" and achieve greater performance. This entire exercise brings to the teams a new perspective of well-being and sense of importance towards its goals.
